IGERT: Risk Analysis for Introduced Species and Genotypes - http://isg-igert.umn.edu/ The Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship Program on Risk Analysis for Introduced Species and Genotypes (ISG-IGERT) seeks applicants for entering the program in Fall 2008, supported by the National Science Foundation. The program educates Ph.D. students to conduct research to improve Ecological Risk Analysis and contribute workable solutions to policy questions and problems affecting management of introduced species and genotypes. The program includes a new graduate minor in Risk Analysis for Introduced Species and Genotypes (ISG minor). Soybean Production and Physiology – A research assistantship is available for an exceptionally qualified and hardworking student at the M.S. or Ph.D. level. This is a unique opportunity for a student to work in production agriculture as a member of a six state research team focused on applied soybean production research, extension, and graduate education.
